To get your device serviced directly through Google in Australia you must use their authorised partner called CTDI Australia based out in Kingsgrove NSW. With regards to what they charge and how long the services takes, your guess is as good as ours as they do not display any of this information on their website. In addition, if you choose to go down this route, we strongly advise to backup your information prior to servicing, as manufactures often wipe the devices as a mandatory protocol during their repairs.

Can Google fix my phone under warranty?

If your phone is less than one year old and the fault you are experiencing is not caused from misuse or physical damage, it should be covered under standard manufacture warranty. Personal insurance aside, If your device is older than one year or is having issues from physical damage, any warranty will be voided and you will need to pay for the repair service.

Will repairing my damaged phone erase the data?

Assuming the damage sustained is cosmetic, your data should be intact if your phone is fixable. We do not erase data when replacing and installing new components during our repairs. In the event your device cannot be fixed, we also offer data recovery services for any Google device.
